Content Creator/Editor

Position Description

You will work with clients/partners to translate research-based interventions and trainings to the company’s e-learning platform. You’ll work with members of video production, graphic design, web development, and research teams to create online courses on a variety of behavioral health-related topics.

Qualifications

  • Practical experience creating/editing a variety of content types, including video scripts, website copy, newsletters, course-specific resources, surveys, and tests/quizzes
  • Experience editing at a variety of levels, from substantive to proofreading
  • Experience developing online learning content
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with clients on adapting in-development or current content to an online format
  • Willingness to learn in-house e-learning development tools, similar to Elucidat, Adobe Captivate, and Articulate
  • Application of editorial principles to video content
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to establish and balance priorities
  • Respect for the Oxford comma

Employment Type: Full-time, on-site, NO CONTRACTORS OR THIRD PARTIES

Degree Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in relevant discipline (e.g., English/English Literature, Digital Communications, Writing, Technical or Business Writing, Journalism, Education)

Additional Relevant Skills

  • Understanding of basic HTML tags
  • Background in psychology and/or behavioral health principles
