3C Institute recently co-sponsored and exhibited at the Blueprints 2018 conference held April 30-May 2 in Denver, Colo. The conference brings researchers, program designers, policy makers, practitioners, community leaders, and funders together to learn about evidence-based programs that promote the health and well-being of children and teens. Of equal importance, attendees get information on how to successfully implement these programs.
Blueprints is one of the premier certification organizations for evidence-based youth development programs. Its standards are recognized as among the most rigorous in the field. In fact, of the more than 1,400 programs reviewed to date, less than 5% have been designated as model and promising programs. The programs endorsed by Blueprints range from broad prevention programs to highly targeted interventions and are implemented in a variety of settings—family, school, and community.
3C strongly supports the Blueprints mission of identifying prevention and intervention programs that meet strict scientific standards for effectiveness. We strive to produce high-quality, data-driven interventions and to support others in meeting this goal as well. Our IMPACT platform allows program developers to easily and effectively track fidelity, progress, and outcomes data, helping to ensure implementation that results in measurable change to targeted behavior and developmental outcomes.
