In an effort to bridge the research-practice gap, Dr. Melissa DeRosier founded 3-C Institute for Social Development (3-C ISD) in 2001.  Since its inception, 3-C ISD has received grant funding from NIH to develop and test a wide variety of interventions, including social skills programs for children, adolescents, and parents, behavioral interventions for diverse youth, and classroom interventions to improve school climate.

icon Partners
We have established a wide network of partners representing diverse disciplines (e.g., computer science, statistics, psychiatry, disabilities, neuroscience). For any particular project, 3-C ISD has multiple external partners who support the objectives of the project through collaboration and consultation.

icon Advisory Board
3-C ISD's scientific advisory board members are committed to providing our staff with guidance, consultation, and assistance as needed across multiple ongoing projects.

Our intervention programs and materials are not only extremely effective and engaging, they have also been honored by well-respected review agencies. And we continue to build on those successes through new research and development projects.
