What We Do
Continuing Education
The goal of our continuing education and advanced training program is to provide high-quality, accessible, and engaging educational workshops and self-paced online courses for mental health professionals and researchers.

Online Continuing Education

4researchers.org, a website funded by the National Institute for Mental Health and maintained by 3-C ISD, hosts online continuing education and advanced training courses in topics related to behavioral science research.


Live Continuing Education

Live training events are designed to facilitate professional communication and development. 3-C ISD offers live training events that focus on rigorous methods and evidence-based practices.

3-C ISD is also available to co-sponsor events in the following credit areas:

  • APA co-sponsorship
  • ASWB co-sponsorship
  • NBCC co-sponsorship

For Psychologists (APA) 3-C ISD is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. 3-C Institute for Social Development maintains responsibility for these programs and their content.

For Counselors (NBCC) 3-C ISD is approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors, provider # 6332, to sponsor continuing education for counselors. 3-C Institute for Social Development maintains responsibility for these programs and their content.

For Social Workers (ASWB) 3-C ISD, provider # 1179, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. 3-C Institute for Social Development maintains responsibility for the program.
