  • Archive: 3-C Institute for Social Development’s experienced video production team videotapes all presentations and gathers all written training materials. Our highly-qualified content team interviews faculty to develop brief to-the-point video clips on specialized topics.
  • Disseminate: 3-C Institute for Social Development staff translates and edits all training materials into easy-to-navigate formats.
  • Administrate: Program management tools (e.g. online applications) alleviate the tedium and administrative overhead of operating a research training program.

A Customized Website to Disseminate Research Training Programs

The 3-C Institute for Social Development will work with your training site to develop a customized website that seamlessly fits the look and feel of your Institute’s current web presence and provides a secure gateway to training resources. Both public and private (password-protected login required) website layers are available.

Public Website Features can include:

  • General information about the training program
  • Complete set of faculty bios (see CDI for Psychiatry for example)
  • Video trailers (e.g., faculty member describing the training program) and examples (e.g., a portion of a presentation) to provide information about what the training program offers
  • General announcements
  • Newsletter archive (searchable)
  • Applications (fillable on-line forms with data feed to the training program coordinator)

Private Website Features can include:

  • Trainee bios
  • Archival training materials in a variety of formats:

  • Institute agenda with direct links to presentations
  • Interactive functions (e.g. discussion boards, collaborative workspace, shared calendar, wiki)

All archived training materials are searchable through the advanced search functions with multiple filters (e.g., by training program, by presenter, by topic). RSS feeds and other notification methods can be provided to keep users engaged and up-to-date regarding training materials available to them through the website.
