History of 3-C Institute for Social Development
Founded in February 2001 by Dr. Melissa DeRosier of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, 3-C Institute for Social Development (3-C ISD) is a research firm devoted to promoting the positive social development and mental health of children and families. 3-C ISD has built a uniquely talented staff of mental health professionals, school counselors, graduate students, and university affiliates to create evidence-based programs that address significant societal problems, such as school violence, social deficits of children and adolescents, and the development of psychopathology.
