Job Description

3-C Institute for Social Development is seeking candidates for a Web Developer.  The primary responsibilities of the Web Developer may include the following:

  • Being an integral part of a team responsible for creating and developing innovative web-based applications and services
  • Responsible for an application in each step of itsdevelopment, including requirements specification, design, user flows,coding, unit and integration testing and ongoing support & maintenance
  • Working with graphic designers, fellow developers,and quality assurance/support personnel in a collaborative teamenvironment

Job Requirements

  • Experience working with medium-sized dynamic web applications
  • Solid programming skills
  • Eye for graphic detail
  • Knack for creating simple and elegant easy-to-use interfaces
  • Self-starter personality that integrates well with a team
  • PHP 5 or significant experience with similar languages
  • MySQL or significant experience with similar SQL databases
  • Javascript / AJAX
  • Cross-browser CSS

Additional Experience

(Helpful experience to have but not required)

  • Adobe Flash and/or Flash Video
  • Content Management Systems
  • Learning Management Systems

Employment Type:  Full-Time Employee

Degree Requirements: 4 year degree in Computer Science
