Research Recruitment Coordinator

3-C Institute for Social Development, Inc. is accepting applications for a full-time Research Recruitment Coordinator.  This position will be responsible for the organization and implementation of all tasks needed to recruit subjects for research projects conducted at 3-C, including (1) creation of recruitment flyers and other advertising materials, (2) distribution of recruitment materials, (3) communication with recruitment sites and with potential research subjects, and (4) organization of research subjects for each project.  All tasks will be completed in coordination with the research staff for the project.

3-C Institute for Social Development, Inc conducts a wide variety of on-going research projects which involve recruitment of children, parents, mental health professionals, researchers, schools and school-based professionals (teachers, school counselors). Projects range from clinical trials in community mental health settings (e.g., social skills training interventions with children), school-based efficacy trials (e.g., classroom social-emotional skills training programs), feasibility tests (e.g., testing feasibility of a new intervention with professionals and families) and program evaluations (e.g., testing impact of on-line training resources with researchers).

Experience recruiting research subjects for related types of projects is required. Experience working with community sites for intervention implementation, particularly in schools, is desirable. A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education or related area of study is required.
