3-C Institute for Social Development (3-C ISD) is a research company that creates and delivers scientifically validated intervention and assessment tools for parents and professionals who wish to help children build positive peer relations and help them develop social coping skills. Much of the research is directed at helping address significant societal problems such as school violence, social deficits of children and adolescents.
Commercial products, such as S.S.GRIN™ and LifeStories for Kids™ help parents and professionals alike teach essential social coping skills and life lessons to children. These products have shown demonstrative success with helping kids learn important social skills such as how to handle bullying and how to promote healthy peer relationships.
3-C Institute for Social Development also develops tools for researchers. Through our companion, 4Researchers (http://www.4researchers.org), 3-C ISD is able to offer training and dissemination services. 4Researchers is an innovative approach to disseminating research data and developing online courseware. Additionally, researchers have the ability to track the effectiveness of their dissemination by checking the progress of their course attendees.
